Last November 2017 is my 2nd trip to South Korea. I already fall in love with South Korea & already planning for my 3rd trip soon. I am a K drama & K Music fan but I'm going there solely to visit their beautiful country.
For this 2nd time I traveled alone from 🛫 KL to Seoul. I am very nervous but at the same time I am really excited as I accept it as challenge to start my 1st solo trip.(but end up I meet with my friends at the night of arrival for dinner & we meet again at Busan on 3rd day.LOL)
Preparations
I RESEARCH a lot ! I always read travel blogs , Korea Tourism official website & many other related websites. It's really really help me. I'm very thankful 🙏 for the bloggers & salute for their hard works post the blog & I always check google map for real distance from point A to Point B.
Travel Insurance
I did'nt buy insurance from AirAsia but I buy from AXA Travel Insurance instead as its cover all my 6 days journey & the price is reasonable too. Remember Travel Insurance is really important for your journey moreover if you are travelling alone.
Internet
I buy Travel Sim card from Hello1010.my a month before depart. It's really really useful & easy to use.The network coverage is excellent too.
Packing
After try & error for so many times, finally I can say I travel light.1 luggage only & the weight not exceed more than 7 kg ( AirAsia cabin rule ) I only buy cargo baggage allowance (10 kg)when returning back.

Mila Marop Travel Tips
- Check 1st if the guesthouse / inn / hotel / hostel you will stay do have hair dryer / towel or anything you might need eg : kettle, extra bed & etc. Because I could'nt stand to not wash my hair even for 2 days. I will bring hair dryer if the place did'nt prepared it.
P/S : for budget traveller like me free light breakfast is a bonus :3
- The distance from public transport to accommodation. If more than 3 km I consider it as long distance & I will try to avoid it while choosing the accommodation.
- If CAN avoid bunk bed room because you totally will get exhausted even from Day 1. Your feet will give in to climb the bed haha ( my 1st time experience in 2015)
- breakfast every morning is a MUST !Do not let your tummy or your buddy tummy empty because happy tummy happy journey LOL
- If you visit South Korea without travel agency better buy T-Money Card to travel around ( just like TnG)
- Sleep early , wake up early. I love to wake up early to avoid crowds during peak hours & to avoid crowds at the place I want to visit.
- Divide the point of interest place into different zone
eg : Day 1 , Day 2 & etc.
- Divide money into several envelope (using raya packet is better hehe) & write down what is the money for eg : transport , food , entrance fee & etc . Make sure to separate emergency money too
Well let's start this blog journey 🛪
First Day | 5 November 2017 (Arrival)🛬
After 6 hours journey finally I arrived at Incheon International Airport for the 2nd time (I can't describe how I miss Seoul so much!) This time I ride Arex All-Stop Train from Incheon Airport to Seoul Station and the price is 4,150 won 1 way (according to website) before that I reload my T-Money for 50,000 won
This time I stay at Namsan Guesthouse Dormitory ( I book the place from Airbnb using credit card) total is RM 164 for 2 nights (inc service fee)
P/S : RM 82 per night is really2 cheap for me 🤑
There is bad news for myself as a muslim women while stay here. I bumped into male guest at toilet & at that moment I just realized the guest shared the same toilet. I am very shocked. I don't know male & female guest share the same toilet .I did read the review tho *sigh* ... Well its an experience! I have to be more careful after this but overall the hostel is awesome. Bed was nice & comfy, clean bathroom, superb light breakfast 👍 & the staff can speak in English too so its easier for check in/out progress.
Remember kindly behave yourself, clean up your own mess well & be polite to each other. I'm happy at that time I meet many tourist from many other country too like Thailand, Phillipine & Japan.
Later that night I have quick meet up with my 3 other friend ( they come 3 days earlier) for a dinner.
We meet at Muree Muslim Restaurant at Itaewon. The food price range is between 8,000 won to 30,000 won if not mistaken. My bill is 16,000 won .
The only proof I have when eat at Muree Muslim Food Restaurant. LOL look at the mess I have done. At this time after 6 hours flight , check in hostel , take a bath & rushing to this restaurant really kill me 😫 I will make sure too clean up after this. I feel guilty after saw this photo.
After all the foods are really2 delicious 👍😋
After dinner me & friends head to Myeongdong for strolling around & to survey cosmetics item prices.
Because of I'm not interested with cosmetics & I am very very tempted with this food visual end up I have my 2nd dinner there at that night. LOL 🤣 I rate the shrimp ⭐⭐⭐ its tasty but too dry & Nutella Banana Crepe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😋
Till next entry. Hopefully 😀 Teehee
